Services:
The
Evening Service: informal and relaxed evening worship
for Sunday evening.
Every
Sunday night at St. Andrew's at 6.30pm (except for the first
Sunday of every month).
'I
would quite like to come to Church occasionally but Sunday
morning is just not a good time.'
A
lot of people find that the pressures of life mean that the
weekends are packed with all the things we don't manage to
do in the week and this can mean that Sunday mornings are
busy.
Many
people find that the 7.00 service to be at just the right
time after a busy weekend. The 7.00 service is a prayerful
time of renewed worship using some of the best old hymns and
some equally inspiring new music.
'So
much is talked about 'spirituality' these days. I would like
to have some time to think about what I believe.'
We
were all made to live our lives in relationship with God and
that can lead us to search for God in all sorts of ways. The
Christian faith says that it is Jesus Christ who fulfils this
longing and this is confirmed by all Christians who find strength,
comfort and healing in Jesus.
The
7.00 service is a gentle and non-threatening place to continue
our search, to get right with God, to be prayed with and in
all this, to receive the love of Jesus in our lives.
We
have a Seven O'clock service mailing list sending out regular
details of guest speakers and special notices. If you would
like to be added to this list or would like any further information
please contact Brian Eales via
