Home Visits and Communion at home

Many feel the need for loving companionship and someone to share their worries, concerns and joys; or just a good chat and catch up with local news.

For people cannot get to church anymore and would like Holy Communion we are happy to share that and the Love of God with them.

We can visit people in their own house, or local nursing homes and the hospitals.

If you know anyone who would like a visit do please let us know by calling
01822 851969 or fill in the form and we will get in touch with you.

Covid19 Update - January 2023

We have our full pattern of services in church - details are shown below.

Wearing a face covering when entering the church is no longer required, but we do ask you to be  considerate to others and be prepared to wear a face covering if asked to do so.

We also ask that people pay particular attention to using the hand sanitiser provided and keep a social distance.

All parts of the the church are open during the day for private prayer and contemplation.

We are now able to hold baptisms, weddings and funerals without any official limits on numbers, although we would ask event organisers to be sensitive to the preferences of those attending and plan accordingly.

We can accommodate between 30 and 40 people fully social distancing in the church and 60-70 people comfortably without being overly close.

If you wish to discuss holding a baptism, wedding or funeral at St Andrew's please contact the vicar using one of the contact forms.
